Dear Frederick, Until recently the publications/thesis repository associated with the university were accessible to the public, as good practices recommend. It was that way by which I and many other scholars were able to access and refer in their work, for instance, thesis submitted to GU. That seems to have stopped, at least for those situated outside India. It is a pity, and I believe a loss to both the authors having their work divulged and outside researchers to be able to updating themselves to Goan scholarship.

(1) The sites listed by Dr Gopakumar are all on the Internet, and accessible from anywhere on the planet (which has access to the Internet). (2) The unigoa.ac.in<http://unigoa.ac.in/> site is publicly accessible too. Some sections though, like those accessing subscription-based databases, are accessible only from the campus or with a login, if I'm not mistaken. Do mention which pages you were trying to access and could not. Someone on this list could offer more details.
