FN, There is the case of Brahmana in Goa who are fish consumers. Could the boys of these families have access to temple service? If they can't, who then takes up the service for them in the temple? I have done extensive work on this in Canara where SB, GSB temples are served by Brahmana. There is also the case of deities, hardly any of them are traditiona or puranic. They ae local and renamed as puranic. How do you think the re-intereptation goes? William Robert
