The conference is about Asian Philosophy (as in Eastern Philosophy). Christianity/Judaism for whatever reason (perhaps its origins in Platonic & Aristotle thinking and subsequent discussion by Aquinas, Anselm) is classified under Western Philosophy. Islam straddles the two broad classifications but was included because the presenter was very keen and volunteered to come down from Washington state to speak on the topic. The author of the post should have checked why topics are included or excluded and on what basis instead of drawing false conclusions.
