George - in view of the fact that all three MAJOR monotheistic religions began in the same spot, I do feel that Judaism and Christianity are as Eastern as Islam, and should be included if Islam is being included. They, too, straddle "the two broad classifications." Surely you could find "very keen" people wanting to speak on Christianity and Judaism as well?? Someone caved in to political pressure.
