Police raid hotel in city
---------------------------------
The top police officials from Panaji Town police station raided
a centrally located hotel in the city and arrested an alleged pimp
and the owner of the hotel along with two girls for allegedly engaging
themselves in the flesh trade.
Thereafter they were taken to the police station for further inquiry and
after thrashing them heavily the police took an undertaking from them
that henceforth they would refrain from carrying out such a business.
According to sources the two teenage girls who were brought to Goa
on a false pretext and were forced into prostitution. They were later rescued
and sent back to their native places after a compromise by the police.
