Rico has been trying to provoke a debate on this issue all over again. I believe much has been said and re-said on this forum on this in the past. Is it worth repeating all over again? This constant worry about identity seems to be a hangover of centuries of colonialism. I shall only take the opportunity to repeat that language (Konkani) has to remain the soul of Goan identity and as a rallying point for other Konkanis if they wish some time to join Goa to form a new political entity!
