Response to Tariq Siddiqui   Thanks for reading my e-mail and responding to it.  I am sorry to state that you have completely misread my e-mail and quoted an idea totally out of context. Frankly, I am not sure you were even following the discussions which prompted my e-mail.   After you re-read my e-mail, you will realize that I was suggesting that 21st century Goans should do something for today’s Goa and Goans and entitle their own creations. Theoretical discussions which divide Goans help no one. Trying to “monkey-with” the work of 15th -19th century Goans (of all ethnic backgrounds) distracts us from current pressing problems that affect Goa and its people.  Like the colonizers let us do some strategic thinking. This time let us make sure we help one another to succeed! Regard, GL
