Gabe, I presume the Lemon Fresh Joy is a UK brand detergent.... Which Goan brand should we substitute this with to attain the results.
If this works as reported we definitely would be enjoying better air quality inside our homes in Goa let alone the monetary savings by discontinuing those polluting mosquito killers. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, May 28, 2003 8:09 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Goanet] " Mosquitoes Be Gone " In a message dated 05/27/2003 8:09:38 AM EST, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: << Here's a tip that was given at a recent gardening forum: Put some water in a white dinner plate and add a couple of drops of Lemon Fresh Joy dish detergent. Set the dish on your porch, patio, or other outdoor area. I'm not sure what attracts them, the lemon smell, the white plate color, or what, but mosquitoes flock to it, and drop dead shortly after drinking the Lemon Fresh Joy/water mixture, and usually within about 10 feet of the plate. Check this out---it works just super! >> Thanks, Gabe, for the above tip which sounds fantastic :-) We'll give it a try and hopefully be free from the "machar" (mosquitoes). Hope it works better than those Citronella lamps.
