The Commission impressed on the Chief Minister that character assassination of the victim should stop and personal information of the victim and her family should not be made public.
The Commission discussed at length the issues arising out of this incident and presented a list of recommendations to stop crimes against women in college campus.
The Chief Minister assured the Commission that he will act on the recommendations made by the Commission. He stated that investigations are on and the accused will be charge sheeted soon. ------------------------ HERALD 30/05/03 ------------------------
