Hence, they have no other alternative but to rely on hired rickshaws and other vehicles to transport their wards to school.
In and around Ponda, we watch these vehicles going very fast. Children are packed into these vehicles. Although traffic police are stationed at major spots, this does not seem to deter these vehicle owners who drive their overcrowded vehicles very fast. The concerned authorities must act before a mishap occurs.
