Congratulations to Jaime DeMello and to the authors and the work Titled:
'RAJHAUNS New Generation Konkani-English Illustrated Dictionary'
authored by Suresh J Borkar, Mukesh P Thali and Damodar K Ghanekar. This
is a Konkani (Devnagri script) to English dictionary.

IMHO when Konkani in whatever script flourishes, the Konkani language is
enriched. What we now need is an encore performance of the
Konkani-English Dictionary in the Latin Script (if one does not exist).
I encourage Jaime DeMello, Basilio Magno, Jorge de Abreu Noronha and
many other experts on the Konkani language (Roman script) to undertake
an encore performance to the Konkani-English Illustrated Dictionary (now
in Roman Script). This would standardize the spelling of many Konkani
words. In the little that I read and write of Konkani, I am bewildered
that there are at least ten variations of spellings of Goenkars and five
variations in the spelling of feni.
Regards, Gilbert Lawrence
