I am a regular commuter on the Panaji- Margao route. I would like to bring the following points to the kind notice of the concerned authorities.
1) The buses plying from Panaji to Margao during the period from 7.30 a.m
to 8.30 a.m get packed at Panaji itself. This causes a lot of hardship to passengers
from St Cruz, Goa-Velha, Agacaim and Cortalim.
2) Buses leave Panaji in intervals of ten minutes while it would be preferable if they leave in gaps of five minutes during peak hours.
3) A large number of students travel to Agnel Ashram daily. As such, the number of buses should be increased in the morning.
4) Express buses are withdrawn on government holidays thereby giving an impression that KTC caters preferentially to government servants. There are a large number of people working for private concerns who work on government holidays.
7) The buses are in such a poor condition that it is sickening to travel long distances in them.
