SORPOTEL ... really sounds tasty and Goan." ..........

Yes, its sounds like a Gujarati name , " SARAPATEL "
* SAR _A_PATEL* was named after Sir Patel
a member of Parliament in the UK Govt.,
who had visited Goa In 1563 !

At a reception held in his honor , a tasty
Goan dish was served , he enjoyed it so much
and asked what the *dish * was called ,
I am not too sure , Sar a Patel , was the answer ,
that s sounds a good name for a tasty Goan dish
....said the guest of humour , and thats how the
name came to being ...and that s how it is called
today ..... * Sarpatel *

Keep :-) ing

Viva to ......soro pot el or whatever ?

rene
Viva.
