Dear Filomena:
Our generation is virtually brainwashed by modern day TV and Journalism (especially in the West) so please do not encourage me to see any more TV.
Unfortunately, you failed to answer my question that when and where the Bible said that the sun goes around the earth?
I now see that you are relying on Santosh Helekar for quotes, who apparently shows off as an Authority on everything from modern medicine, to science and religion the self-acclaimed I know it all type.
I would say only this: Its not enough that we (as Catholics) have faith even if it be in the great Blessed Joseph Vaz and his cause for sainthood. Faith without practice would make Faith no more than superstition.
Best wishes,
Joe Vaz

Incredible thoughts, but even more incredible is the notion . that the sun goes around the earth as the Church and the Bible said...
Was this a part of the Bible at any time?

[There has been recent interest in Galileo, on TV and in book form. Do read the beautiful new book of letters of Galileo's daughter, a nun, that throws light on this period of history and the great religious debate around this very topic of Galileo's discovery that the earth moved around the sun.]
