Renowned Konkani Stage artiste Querobina Carvalho will release her second Konkani Audio Cassette on 27th of this month during the grand Musical Show �Konkani Ekvottachi Sanz� at Funaitees, Indian Arts Circle. Earlier three years back Querobina Carvalho released her first Album �Dhinvas�. The new cassetee �Tragedy Queen� is dedicated to the well known Konkani Stage artiste Ophelia Cabral who is now leading a retired life in Bombay. Ophelia Cabral was known to play tragic roles during those days and for such roles she was highly competenent. Her tragic role as �Kuddem Anita� in C. Alvares� Tiatro �Kedna Udetolo To Dis� was supreme in all respects. Ophelia Cabral married to Bab Peter is the mother of one daughter Babli who was also acted in Tiatro for some time. Babli was a good singer and her father Bab Peter�s calibre as a smart tiatrist is known to everyone.
The new album �Tragedy Queen� consists of 12 songs namely solos, duets and trios by different singers such as Querobina herself leading with the title song, Lawry, Jr. Rod, Osvi, Menino Mario and Bab Andrew. Recording was done at Whitney Studio, Margao, musical score provided by Maestro Josinho and produced by Ronny Socorro Production.
