Prince Jacob is already in Kuwait. He has created unique record on Konkani Stage by writing and staging 25 non-stop dramas, titles of same starting in letter �P�.
He has so far produced 10 Audio Cassettes. The 10th one is dedicated to Fr. Agnelo to commemorate 75th death anniversary of the saintly priest of Goa. This cassette titled �Padr Agnel Mannik Goenchem� is under sale now and it will be also available in the IAC hall during the Grand Konkani Musical Show. The title song Padr Agnel is rendered by Prince Jacob himself confessing his own incident, which is turned out to be a miracle by curing the singer thru the intercession of Ven. Fr. Agnelo. The song gives detailed account of Fr. Agnelo and his achievement in the service of humanity and God.
The total number of songs is 10 including the title song. Side A consists of 5 songs all of which are having religious fervour namely Manevont Padr Agnel; Devosaum Kor by Annie, Humbert, Milagres; Pilar Saibinn by Prince Jacob; Madre by Annie (Lyrics:Rosary Ferns); Porgot Kor by Prince Jacob, Diana, Milagres & Annie which gives testimony of the favours obtained by devotees of Pe. Agnel � names and places mentioned are genuine.
Side B also consists of 5 songs namely Kelam Tikann by Prince Jacob describing the great work done by Goan priests; Adleancheo Chali by Humbert, Diana & Milagres which shows the difference between old traditional systems and the current ones; Padripon by Prince Jacob in which he describes the sacrifices of priests; Dhorm by Prince Jacob, Humbert & Milagres talks on communal harmony and the last one Saibinn Maim by the new singer Ivy indicating the individuality of Mother Mary. This side also having religious tone.
The musical score for this cassette is provided by well-known musician Praveen that is very pleasing to the ears.
This cassette is also available with Prince Jacob in CD form.
After listening to this cassette I feel it is worth purchasing because it is very informative and educative. Since Prince Jacob has brought a good number of cassettes I feel Konkani music lovers should directly purchase from Prince Jacob that it thru his supporters who will be selling this cassette and not thru local shops. The CDs and Cassettes sold in the local shops will have poor quality. Besides, the investment done by the producer should not give profit to the local shopkeepers who are minting money at the cost of Konkani producers. Let the benefits of the cassette should go to the producer only and in this way we Goans and Konkani lovers should help our own people only and not non-Goans who are least bothered on our development.
