3 Goan priests, Frs. Albert, Basilio and Couto to celebrate the Feast Mass of St. Francis Xavier ! Father Albert Castellino was ordained as a Redemptorist priest in 1961. Over the years, he has served the Church in India and has also been instrumental in fostering Parish renewals across the United States, Hawaii and Australia. Additionally, Fr. Albert has been involved in Cursillo, Marriage Encounter and Charismatic movements. He has worked with Blessed Mother Teresa in Calcutta as Associate Pastor in the Redemptorist Parish of Our Lady of Fatima. Father Basilio Monteiro is a priest from Goa, currently resident in New York. Father Nelson Couto who is currently visiting the U.S. belongs to the Society of Salesians of Don Bosco, Mumbai. As a priest for over 24 years, he has mostly worked as a missionary among tribals in Gujarat. For 5 years he served as a Parish priest in Baroda where he particularly enjoyed working among youth. He has preached retreats to various groups all over India. A choir practice will be held on December 07, 2003 at St. Luke's Church from 10:00 a.m. onwards. The practice will be held in the Lower Church, ample parking facilities are available behind the Church. All are welcome to join. As our families prepare for Thanksgiving, the 2003 Managing Committee would like to give thanks to all of you for the overwhelming response and support.
