Marlon, We are not living in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. We live in a world that is trying to deal with ethnic and religious "cleansing." The world's nations and the U.N. have gone to war over these deathly issues as in Bosnia in our lifetime. Goa and Goans should be affirming ethnic and religious rights, not marketing religious "cleansing" which was what the Inquisition was about, and not promoting bygone colonial missionary models who did not respect the right to worship of non-Christians. Otherwise, Goan Catholics should not complain that Hindu and other religious fundamentalists are suppressing their Christian/Catholic religious rights today. Let's market what's good and beautiful about Goa, especially the Goan way of peaceful co-existence that has won us friends all over the world, and it will generate profits for all.
