While we have this discussion about Ayurveda and whether it has been scientifically proven to be effective, I believe in the old saying "The proof of the pudding is in the eating".
I can personally vouch for the efficacy of Ayurveda, as the doctor who treats my family, was trained in the Ayurvedic medical discipline. Whatever the ailment, her treatment has been very effective. I am very impressed that in Ayurveda the doctor not only treats the symptoms but seeks and attempts to treat the root cause of the ailment. I am glad that in Goa, we have the choice of Allopathic (Western), Ayurvedic, or Homeopathic medical treatment. Vivian A.
