Gilani came to Goa by a Sahara Airways flight on Sunday afternoon and his arrival was promptly noted down by the security and police personnel posted at the airport.
Gilani, presently moving in the state in a Scorpio vehicle, is accompanied by his Delhi based lawyer who owns accommodation on Chorao island.
He reportedly visited friends of his advocate at Porvorim and St. Inez yesterday.
Meanwhile it is learnt that the police are likely to meet Gilani seeking to know the purpose and duration of his visit here.
It maybe recalled that Gilani was the prime accused in the terrorist attack on Parliament in Delhi in December 2001.
