I like to remain silent while being immersed in deep thought about
some profound mystery of the universe. I spent most of this Goanet
meeting thinking about the ultimate meaning of the word "innit", used
frequently by Bernado "Ole Xac" Colaco on Goanet. Towards the very
end of the meet, too late to launch into a protracted noisy argument,
I resolved to do a google search "onnit". I just "diddit". What I
found is truly demystifying.

"Innit" is British slang for "isn't it" used especially by Indians
and Pakistanis i. e. by Bharatis. In other words, Bernado is really a
Bharati. My hunch is, he is the only Bharati who has not benefited
from the Bharati invasion of 1961, and therefore, is jealous of the
rest of us, Bharatis, who have.

Cheers,

Santosh
