But surely the national flag has also to be displayed prominently alongside
the foreign one(s)? I think this is the  normal practice in any country,
where the hoisting of a foreign flag alone would be deemed offensive. IMO if
one foreign flag is hoisted, the national flag should be hoisted at its
right; and if several foreign flags are hoisted, the national one should be
flown on the central mast.
