Mogall Alfredo-bab,

I sincerely thank you for your compliments. I am doing what I can, while I can for our mother tongue, for nobody knows what tomorrow holds for us.

I am very happy to know that Goanetters are reading my Konkani articles. I thought my exercise was futile - Omtea kollxear udak! We need to focus more on our mother tongue and do everything we can to promote it.

I do have in mind to compile and publish the sayings with translation.

Next, I am flattered and feel honored to be asked to recommend a dictionary in Konknni/Roman script. I dont mind doing it, but it is quite a mammoth job. It needs a lot of time, concentration and devotion; not to mention accuracy, which is a key factor in a dictionary. Unfortunately, all these things are not possible while I continue to be employed. I could, however, take up this task work upon my normal retirement in around three years' time.

I once again thank you for your confidence in me.

Best regards,

Moi-mogan
Domingos

Mogal Domingo-bab,

By the way, can you recomend a dictionari in Konkni/roman-script.

Keep up the good work,
Alfred
