It's a hit, it's unbelievable, it was a presentation by Kuwait's very best, KGTS in Musical 'Tiatr & Tiatrist' �
Kuwait, Feb. 20, 2004:� It's a hit, it's a novel for Konkani stage in Kuwait and for Goa too. The 4.15 minutes show was thoroughly and unbelievably enjoyable organized by Kuwait-Goa Tiatristanchi Sonstha (KGTS) and Goan Welfare Society (GWS)-Kuwait this evening. The music was quite memorable and the youngsters in the 22 member orchestra, backed by seasoned musicians of repute, kept the audience stunned, mesmired and lost for words. The best songs were undoubtedly churned out by the seniormost visiting artistes from Goa and Mumbai, including Remmie Colaco, Joe Rose, Peter-Roshan, Trio Kings and the finest among the local artistes, a wealth of talent. KGTS President Francis de Verna, KGTS founder Marcus Vaz, Junifer Rod, Cajetan de Sanvordem and above all, Jose Rod, together with the KGTS committee members, who did not leave any stone unturned. The staging and direction was extremely well done and balanced. The stage used to its utmost potential.� There was hardly a dull moment. Technically, the show is also wonderful and that left the large audience glued to their seats. The costumes of the musicians as well as the artistes are extraordinarily colorful and exquisite, and to the required standard matching with the items presented. Kudos to the musicians under the direction of Tony and Faustino, with the specially flow-in Juju (Saxaphone), Agnelo Dias (Trumpets) and Luis Morias (Trumpets). KGTS member, Augusto Morias in Goa, interviewed and featured 'live' on screen to the audience, the interviews of three seniormost 'tiatrists' direct from Goa including M.Boyer, Master Vaz and Rom Tony. Interestingly, the 'interval' and 'the end' part was well choreographed a la 'AWAI' ad. seen on the Gulf T.V. channels kept the audience guessing to the end.
