The highly spoken Dr. JC Almeida, Mr. E. Faleiro, Mr.Sardessai, Mr. Kamat, and many such Goan luminaries have left an intellectual impact on Goa and Goans.
Some Goans will never give due credit to Goans, they will criticise , abuse , mudsling and many such things but they will not allow a Goan to prosper neither will they prosper, they will pick on very petty issues ,and keep preaching and claim they have spoken the gospel truth. Due to this attitude of some Goans , the outsiders have taken advantage of this and we are left to Gaze. If a Goan has excelled in some way the praise is in the form of a bed of thorns not roses, but if an outsider has excelled then we glorify them to the extreme. We goans would have excelled tremendously if we had to help each other in all ways not riding on the saying " each one for himself God for all" When i started this conversation , my statement was why don't we seek assistance with these luminaries and find a way forward, on this subject GOANS IN IAS?These gentlemen who are experienced in this field would guide us better and experience makes one wise. -- "Teotonio R. de Souza" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > If I am not mistaken, Dr. JC Almeida did his > doctorate in Lisbon at the > Instituto Tcnico, and returned to Goa just in time > to be integrated into > the Indian Administrative Service.
