The people of Saligao do not want a cell pole in their Village or perhaps there are not that many cell users in Saligao to warrant a transmission pole, or maybe the nearby ones in Anjuna and Calangute do the job just fine. Lastly, they only marry each other in Saligao, so whom are they going to make a phone call to? Here in London, perhaps by the end of the year, commuters on the Underground system will be able to use their mobile phones.
