Subject: Goa's Open Secret Frederick Noronha This book (by Pirolkar) is easily available in Goa. But I see little point in debating with someone so keen on denying history... or seeking justifications for its unpleasant chapters.
Response: Hi Fred, I am not asking you to debate the inquisition with me. I am merely requesting you or others with Pirolkar's book to quote the statistics from the book. Is that too much to ask? Do you think that quoting this inquisition data from this book will shatter your or my perceptions of the inquisition in Goa? BTW no one denies there was an inquisition in Goa. It was a legal act that introduced the inquisition and a legal act that abolished the practice. Why are you or others being so defensive about sharing and backing your opinions or editorials with actual facts?
