If you ask most Catholics in Goa if their church was built on the site of a Hindu temple, they will reply by saying they do not know for sure but - yes, probably.

This is accepted by both Catholics and Hindus and there is no indication that any party (religious or political) wants to reverse that part of history today.

Goa is an excellent example of how all religious communities live together in peace and harmony. Yes, we all have differences but that is what makes the place so exciting. Peaceful harmony by accepting our differences.
