This beautiful historic park is not less than a heritage site in the city.
However, it stands barricaded today with ugly iron railings with numerous metal sheets fixed on it giving it a look of a jail or prison. What is the insipid logic behind this and why are the Madgaokars maintaining silence over it? The Margao Municipality should be questioned over this damage done to the beautiful face of the garden.
