As announced, Curtorcares United held their Easter Nite on 29th April 2004 at Fakher Al Deen Palace, Kuwait City which was sponsored by the main sponsor Ngeeco Siemens and co-sponsored by Mahatta Freight Services. The other sponsors were Air India, Qatar Airways, Pan Arab Travels, Caesars Travels, Al Mulla Rental, UAE Exchange, Red Rose Restaurant, Shoot, Minolta Konica, Canon, Emirates Springs, CheveronTexaco, Lipton, Kuwait Bahrain International Exchange and Atlas Commercial etc. The Nite was well attended by the capacity attendees leaving no table for the late comers. The special visiting guest coming all the way from Goa especially for this occasion Mr. Francisco Sardinha ex Chief Minister, ex Member of Parliament and current Member of Goa Legislative Assembly along with his educationist wife Columba stole the major attention. They were welcomed in the hall by the president of Curtorcares United Mr. Salvador Dias and Carmo Santos the co-sponsor of the Nite with a thunderous applause. The other VIP guests for the Nite were the Chief Guest Mr. Carl�Otto Klermund, the General Manager of Ngeeco Siemens, guest of Honour Mr. Carmo Santos the Manager of Mahatta Freight Services, Air India Manager Mr. R. N. Singh, Mr. Sajid Khan the Director of Siemens Mobile and Mr. Maleek the General Manager of Qatar Airways. The special compeer young Thracha D�Mello with her mellifluent tongue captured the hearts of everyone there and of course her partner Merwyn Pereira who acquired name and fame in this field played a very good role to keep the atmosphere in Hall very lively. The third compeer Mr. Lyod D�Souza also enhanced the quality of the show with his normal eloquence. The Band played by the Stepping Stones, The Soul Shakers created lot of ripples in the hall.
The beauty queen contest was judged by the panel of 6 judges namely Mr. Carl Otto Klermund, Mr. Francisco Sardinha, Mr. Navpreet Bhogal, Mr. Carmo Santos, Mr. R.N. Singh and Mr. Reji Jacob adjudged Miss Nisha Braganza as the Easter Queen while the first runners-up was Valencia D�Souza and the second runners-up was Conchita Cardozo. The Queen was crowned by Mr. Carl Otto Klermund while the first runners-up by Mr. & Mrs. Francisco Sardinha and the second by Mr. & Mrs. Carmo Santos. All those who participated in the contests were fabulously awarded and gifted by the organizers. As a whole, the Curtorcares Easter Nite turned out to be a grand event and a great success. The major credit for this success should naturally go to their president Mr. Salvador Dias along with his team of members and workers.
