Mervyn: I asked a simple question: If some one has lived a good life, why would s/he be afraid of death? I am quite tempted to go down to your standards and call a fellow GoaNetters "chicken," but I will refrain.
Gilbert Lawrence: Personally, I would be very concerned almost afraid of any one who states / believes / insists that he has lived a good life. "Living a good life" will depend on one's definition of "good". Very likely, even Mother Teresa would not say she lived a good life. She is most likely to say in all humility, she TRIED to live a good life and God will be the judge. And till then, perhaps one has to try to be better (than good). I hope I have met you standards to get off your blacklist. :=)) ########################################################################## # Send submissions for Goanet to [EMAIL PROTECTED] # # PLEASE remember to stay on-topic (related to Goa), and avoid top-posts # # More details on Goanet at http://joingoanet.shorturl.com/ # # Please keep your discussion/tone polite, to reflect respect to others # ##########################################################################
