The unique "Cable-stay" bridge being constructed across Aldona-Khorjuem at a cost of Rs.20.78 crore is scheduled for completion by December this year. While the second one at Khorjuem-Poira, costing Rs.4.24 crore and labeled as the first of its kind in the whole country which has a facility of opening horizontally for river navigation, will be thrown open to the public in a year from this date.
