Dramatic Troupe of Ribandar (Danny of Ribandar) bagged the Best Performance (1st) and the Best Direction (2nd) awards for their Tiatr "Dhaago" (thread) at the Kala Academy, Panaji organized All Goa Tiatr Competition held on September 23, 2004 at Ravindra Bhavan Hall at Curchorem, South Goa. The Troupe won 12 awards in different categories which included: Best Actress for Ms. Rosalia Rodrigues who has consolidated her numero uno position by bagging this award for three consecutive years and Mr. Shirish Naik bagging the second Best Actor award. The child artiste Arnaldo Crasto won the Best Child Artiste award while Victor Fernandes continued his prize-winning spree for the second year in line as Best singing Child Artiste. The Troupe also bagged awards for the Best Setting (Ajit Salgaonkar), Best Make-up (Sadanand Gawde) Best costumes (Sandra Rodrigues) and Best Lights (Nilesh Mahale - second consecutive year) categories. Director Diogo Fernandes (Danny of Ribandar) and Mr. Assis Mendes pocketed the individual merit certificates for singing Vell and Login respectively. In the final tally, St. Cruz Group 'Machi Mogi, St. Cruz' bagged the second place, "Munis Tum" by Shri.
