Dear Cecil, When I asked a few families here they told me they get around 500/600 sausages. which will last them for 10/11months...I dont know about other gulf countries but I got similar reply from my friends in Kuwait... Pork is available in Bahrain, but not in SA and Kuwait...dunno about the rest of the gulf countries.
