Cecil Bab, The rough guidline / list provided by your correspondent is accurate...but mostly refers to Goans in Kuwait....Most of the food items are cooked and frozen...the fresh dukrachem mas that he is talking about is brought in fm neighbouring countries. In addition some even carry Ponos or Gore. Carrying dukrachem mass ani Soro in Saudi is strictly prohibited. (Its even prohibited intransit) But pickles and the rest of the food items are permitted (there is slight restriction only in Jeddah during Holy month of Ramadan and Hajj ) The same items are being carried by Goans when they return to Mumbai from their annual vacation...besides a few more..Rubber slippers (Payal), Goa shopping Bag.etc If male...its feni, but now its mostly Whiskey...if female...port wine...and the list goes on...:) Eddie Verdes Chinchinim Goa From: "Cecil Pinto" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > A correspondent of mine from the Gulf, who wishes to remain anonymous, sent > this to me in reply to my query on Sausage consumption patterns.
