we have been a bit
slack on these in recent days, what with the posts US presidential elections, UK tickets to Goa, NRI passports, hospital conditions in the UK, etc.)

Folks,

Fred is standing on very dangerous ground! There is no way he can get away with lumping the four subjects together!

US Presidential Elections had no DIRECT relation to Goa, granted.

UK Tickets to Goa is to do with Goa but he has a point that it does have a nuisance value for some. My personal feeling is that with the fares being so volatile, it might be preferable to have a generic listing of the bargain sources and to use the specialised mailing lists for individual announcements. What do the others feel?

NRI dual nationality surely cannot be considered off topic. The Indian Govt. has procrastinated and many people wish to know the latest position.

Hospital Conditions in the UK was only raised in relation to those in India and was interesting even if there was no DIRECT relation to Goa.

Having said that, I accept it is difficult to define what is Off Topic to others. I would welcome stricter guidelines and accept Admin's decisions.

Note: I have changed the Subject Header to OFFTOPIC

Cheers,

Eddie
