We find a number of participants in this forum defending the status quo or denigrating U.S. efforts to liberate tyrannical states in the Middle East and elsewhere.
One of the correspondents even had the nerve to taunt that GWB should be president of Iraq/Afghanistan for liberating those two countries from Islamofascist terrorism!
Some have been critical of the U.S Marine who shot an Iraqi pretending to be dead but actually awaiting to ambush him, by claiming that the U.S. has lost all sense of moral proportion.
What was lost was an election. Despite the millions spent by radicals such as George Soros, Michael Moore, Moveon.org, the labor unions and the support for John Kerry by the Hollywood types like Streisand, Springsteen, Bono, Cher, Blather, et al. the Democrats lost big! As long as Bush is president his irrational critics and haters will seize on any attempt to discredit him and the attacks on him will continue.
And, incidentally, what is all this "insurgent" blather? These people kidnap, behead, dismember and disembowel innocents. They are terrorists!
Where is the moral outrage from the media, the international community (particularly "Old Europe") and the so-called "moderate" Arab/Muslim nations and their leaders over the killing of innocents? Where is the outrage at the hijacking of Islam by extremists such as Zarqaawi? In fact Al Jazeera seems to be the PR wing of the islamofacists by propagandizing the brutality! In the brutal slaying of Margaret Hassan, a convert to Islam, it is clear that no negotiations are possible with religious fanatics. They must be hunted down and destroyed just as George Bush promised and what he is meticulously proceeding to do.
In the meantime I would urge the defenders/apologists of Saddam Hussein and his ilk to stand up and express their moral outrage! Otherwise they stand exposed for the hypocrites they really are.....
