Let me first get past the Freudian slip on the website which purports to carry a letter allegedly written by a certain Sr. Celia Fernandes, the Superior of Ajuda Convent, Ribandar to the Police, Old Goa.
The website records the following sentence "the said person threatened to..rape all the nuns..with the help of GONADS" (caps mine)
Baba webmaster.....matshe change korr re baba. Unless the good sister really meant to use the word "GONADS"
Now to a a non-Freudian note
1. This 'breast-hand-slip' incident allegedly took place on December 24, 2003
2. Bailancho Ekvott received a phone call about the alleged incident from a Ribandar resident 0n August 15, 2004 (about 8 months later ?!)
Interesting 8 month gestational period for such a notification.
3. On August 17th, 2004, the Police are apparently sent a letter about the matter from Bailancho Ekvott. (Will still be interested to know IF Bailancho Ekvott took a deposition from the accused priest - in the presence of his lawyer)
4. On the 5th of August 2004 ( a whole 10 days before August 15), a phone-threat is alleged to have been made agaist the nuns of the Ribandar convent.
5. The Police are apparently sent another letter - on August 16, 2004. In this one, there is a complaint that "all the nuns are threatened with rape"
6. Wonder whether Bailancho Ekvott are aware of this alleged incident. Wonder whether Bailancho Ekvott decided to investigate this issue too. Wonder whether the same person who telephoned Bailancho Ekvott, also had earlier called and threatened the Nuns. Wonder if anyone knows.
7. BTW: Is August .... a "Write a Letter to the Police Month" in the beautiful little place called Ribandar?

Whatever happened to the days when the most exciting items in Ribandar were the Mirchi Bhajis sold at the shack opposite the Old and beautiful et Very Clean (Hear Me Cecil Pinto....Very Clean) Ribandar Hospital?

Sir,
We sisters of Adjuda Convent attached to Our Lady of Ajuda Church Ribandar would hereby lodge our complaint as under.
On 05/08/04 at about 5.30 p.m hrs, while we were at the Convent. We received a call on the Convent telephone number 2444336 from a person, and the caller disclosed his name as Mr. XXXXXXXXX a resident of Ribandar.
At about 8:30 pm (between 8:30 and 9.30 p.m) the said person gave me another call without any valid reasons and starting to abuse me and threatened to damage the Convent, and rape all the nuns staying at the convent with the help of GONADS .................
