Tariq, I think you are wrong. That is not the reason why Mr. Goveia is such a winner of all arguments. Mr. Goveia is an extremely smart and rational man in a unique sort of way. He holds in his possession the choicest facts and fables, derived from impeccable sources and great repositories of knowledge such as the editorials of newspapers. He is also very effective at making liberal use of certain English words such as context, perspective, socialism and communism in a way that is simply devastating to any opponent. His logic is both impenetratable and impregnable. I have been wondering for the past couple of months as to how that is even possible. How can one impregnate something that is not penetrable? But above all, Mr. Goveia has found a way to harness the power of repetition. One might say that he uses a reusable source of energy for his arguments. That is why he is so invincible.
