Peter D'Souza rightly pointed my mistake in writing Sanjay Gandhi as PM. It was Rajiv, no doubt. I may have made other errors, and the one I noticed while scrolling through the stories on goanet is that I said "Chair" in the story on entertainment. It should be American Chai.
No problem Eugene; we all make mistakes. It reminds us too that we're human ;-)
Someone called journalism "literature in a hurry". As far as the "literature" bit goes, as a mere hack, I don't have any such pretensions about my own writing. But it often gets done in a hurry.
When I read Sanjay Gandhi's name with Sam Pitroda's, I understood you meant Rajiv. I've made far worse blunders in my shorter career, and I guess most of us who write could compile a book on this subject ;-)
