Someone called journalism "literature in a hurry". As far as the "literature" bit goes, as a mere hack, I don't have any such pretensions about my own writing. But it often gets done in a hurry.

When I read Sanjay Gandhi's name with Sam Pitroda's, I understood you meant Rajiv. I've made far worse blunders in my shorter career, and I guess most of us who write could compile a book on this subject ;-)
