From: kamalaksh chari Thana, Cortalim, Goa. RESPONSE: It amazes me not, when people follow blindly! Can Kamalaksh chari, kindly inform us how the 18 vs 6 vote took place? It has been stated that the Speaker is only entitled to vote in a tied vote - i.e. he uses his vote as a casting vote. In this case he voted nevertheless! Or was the Speaker in a complete bind and didn't know what he was doing ? He assumed it was a tie, in which case the vote should have been 18 vs 17. cheers, Gabe Menezes Wimbledon, England.
