Interesting that you brought this up. An American e-friend once offered to bring me a quart of tequila and I cursed him for being such a miser. It turned out he meant a quarter gallon which was about a litre, whereas I assumed it was a quarter bottle (180ml) as we call it here in India.

With your knowledge of International terms could you give us an idea of what are the common measures of measurements of alcohol (pegs, quarts, gallons, pints, mugs, glasses, bottles, barrels, imperial gallons etc) in different countries and their equivalents in the metric system?

When I do my world tour in 2020 I want to know exactly what to order in every country.
