This project seems to have a bearing on Dabolim as it (the helibase) is supposed to provide facilities for the operation of helicopters guarding installations in Mumbai. If it does its job then the load on Dabolim should be less. Why the Navy is unable to bridge the communication gap with the local dwellers is difficult to fathom.
