Kevin You have shared your personal religious experience, but I am curious how you related to the organization of Knights of Columbus. Were you uncomfortable with Columbus' past, his colonization and responsibility for thousands of native deaths in places he visited. You must know a number of American-Indians and Latin Americans detest the man for what he did to their ancestors. Did any of this trouble you or influence your decision? Did you find it uneasy to belong to an organization who shares a name with a man who symbolizes injustice and mass-murder to many people?
