A lot depends on how strongly one feels about the mundane but complicated problems besetting Goa. The stronger one feels the more willing s/he will be to persist in the face of the usual criticism and ridicule. One must also be able to show that s/he knows what s/he is talking about and also be willing to learn (esp by "listening" and also from the internet) as this will blunt the attacks to some extent.
