Actually, I referred to him respectfully as Pope Benny XVI, not "Benny", which would have been disrespectful, in my opinion, of course. Can we lighten up here with the fussy and fastidious and free-speech-restricting indignation? Laura Bush calls her husband "Bushy", so I had no problem with Gabe calling him the same. He could have called him a lot worse, as the AWOL Tariq used to do. Re. Pope Benny XVI, as a staunch practicing Catholic and one of his big fans, I took a little affectionate American-style poetic license here, little realizing that some who find little to admire in the Catholic Church or faith, would take umbrage, and accuse me of violating decorum. >
