Hello Fr. Ivo,
During the last few days I have been reading lot of interesting posts written by you and written on you by others. Though belatedly but rightly I must welcome you in this forum with open arms since person of your devine and intellectual calibre will give extra boost to this forum. Very few of your intellectual capacity are seen on cyber today. Your knowledge on many subjects especially on Biblical are like a source of fountain for less knowledgeable to enjoy. Some years back we both us had very good and fuirtful discussion on religious matters in "Dhor Moineachi Rotti" which I still feel one of the best magazines in Goa and those who read it regularly will justify my statement. Your responses to certain queries in this monthly Holy magazine were of very high calibre. The late Pe. Chico Monteiro from your neighbouring village Candolim used to speak very high of your wisdom and knowledge. My great pleasure was during some of the times we both of us used to meet and dsicuss many of the topics relevant to Goa, Goans, Konkani and society as a whole. God has blessed you with vast power of knowledge. Please share it with many of the readers of this forum. Reading you in D.M. Rotti I enjoyed the blessing and power of your knowledge and wisdom and thus gained a lot of knowledge. Let others like me too acquire something from you thru this forum. May God Bless you abundantly to share your knowledge and wisdom with those who are hungry and thirsty for the same.
With Kindest Love,
A. Veronica Fernandes, Kuwait.

Dear George,
Thank you for your sincere appreciation. I am not the Rector of Rachol
Seminary, but a Professor of Biblical Exegesis and of Sociology. I am also the
Secretary of the Theological Commission of the Conference of the Catholic
Bishops of India (CCBI). I do appreciate any discussion that leads us to know
better the problems. I do not claim to be the last word in any field, not even
in my own subject. But I shall try to deepen the issues in any field. I
respect the opinions of those who do not agree with me. Yet, I would like to
know the reasons that lead them to do so. A discussion at a higher level,
without hurting the feelings of anyone, is always constructive. May this Forum
unite all Goans scattered throughout the globe and help them to lead a fuller,
happier life!

this forum although I may not agree with him on certain issues. He has
certainly added a different perspective.
One goanetter wrote to me privately that he is Rector at Rachol Seminary.
I do not know if this is true but I appreciate he offers his comments in an
insightful way.
