re: the need to honour a contract that has been signed before the Accession of Kashmir to India, Carlos suggested ...."To Hell with it"

Jose,

The Tenancy act should apply. It works in Goa. I know a tenant in Goa who said "Hell with the contract" and refused to leave the flat. This is a semi humorous comment by the way, no need to respond.

Mogal Carlos,

I would have accepted your invitation NOT to respond to the above comment even though I find nothing humorous about it.

The point remains however that YOU posted Right Wing Hindu Propaganda on this forum.

I ask again: Where in the Indian Constitution did you find that HINDUS (say opposed to Christians) from outside Kashmir were prohibited from buying property in a certain part of Kashmir?

BTW: this Tenancy Act in force in India is a true Indian invention - like the Caste System, Sati and the Devadasi nonsense. I hope you are jumping up and down saying Jai Hind to that.

Just imagine - Carlos works hard - saves some money - buys a flat - rents it out for 1 year while he is working in the US - BUT cannot get it back when he wants it without a lengthy court battle.

Just Imagine

And Carlos see Humour in that !

Wow.
