If I may make a suggestion, why don't you stick to the issues and the specific points being make in a post you choose to comment on, and respond to these with specific facts and opinions of your own? Let whoever YOU think is a crack-pot know, so that they can have an opportunity to rebut your allegations and insults hopefully using more recognizable facts to back up their opinion than you have used. Instead, you embark on these vague, rambling, condescending and patronising posts, peppered with insults aimed at anonymous posters, sycophantic comments to others, and vague insinuations about how smart the physician-posters are, something all of them disprove on a regular basis. To pre-empt you from the urge to call ME a crack-pot, you should know that many have already done so in one form or another, and will again, and it's like pouring water on a duck's back. My attitude is, "Sticks and stones....", you know the rest. I should mention I developed my rhino skin in my hometown of Jabalpur, where we called our FRIENDS "jackasses" when they needed it, and I have an entire alternative vocabulary which, like vintage wine, is only served on special occassions. I find it interesting that, somehow, a few of the physician-posters have managed to disclose their professions, whereas no one knows the precise backgrounds and academic qualifications of most of the rest of the Goanetters, some whose rare contributions show that they are wise beyond whatever credentials they may have (they may even be physicians of the modest variety). A typical post by the widely known physician-posters shows that they are no smarter on non-medical issues than the average poster on Goanet, nor do their opinions carry any more knowledge, insight and wisdom than anyone else's. All the physician-posters I can think of are at least as obnoxious as I am, which is saying a lot, but I try to be specific, and even my barbed references are narrowly targeted and precisely crafted, in my never humble opinion of course. The victims, er, debating opponents, I'm sure, will disagree.
