Fred,

It is a small step in the right direction that the Catholic Church is now taking and needs to be applauded. But it has a long way to go. It needs to change from sosegado mode to an active mode (No more afternoon naps). It needs to educate people on honesty and integrity. It needs to enforce Christian values and talk about evils such as corruption, injustice, crimes, abortion, divorces, etc. And it needs to keep a watch on the politicians they supported and speak out when they go astray. The reason why tainted Catholic MLA's are elected over and over again is because majority catholics have accepted that corruption and crime is OK. If this goes on, it will be the law of the jungle prevailing in Goa.

Regards,
Carlos
